Millions of people around the world are searching for hair loss cures, but do they really exist? Humans have for hundreds of years searched for cures of many diseases and illnesses like cancer, but there is no real solution yet. Nevertheless some scientists appear to be making great strides forward in finding the right treatment. It is the same with hair loss, even though it’s not really considered a disease, it does affect your self-esteem. Many of us are looking for an answer to deal with this ‘ugly’ problem.
Like many other men, I have been searching for the ‘holy grail’, and out of desperation men try almost anything. Not that they look for a way to stay young forever, but because they are fed up with the fact that they look well beyond their true age. I hope by sharing my own journey and research, people will have a better way to decide which hair loss treatment or product is most effective for them personally.
Knowing the right treatment can help to minimize the amount and rate of loss, but that doesn’t want to say you can totally prevent hair loss or baldness. From my search I realised that there are many options available on the market, including natural hair loss cures and remedies. The downside of this is that because men are desperate to try anything to regain hair growth, they also end up buying all the useless lotions and potions unscrupulous people are selling.
The majority of people belief that only men suffer from losing hair, but that is not true at all. Hereditary is indeed a major factor here, but worldwide there are millions of women who lose their hair and the number is growing rapidly. This female-pattern hair loss is mainly caused by a hereditary condition known as androgenetic alopecia.
Women, just like men, also have a level of the hormone testosterone in their bodies, although a lot less. But when women are more sensitive to testosterone, it results in the condition alopecia. The result is thinning of hair all over the head. Other women again develop thinning patches which can be compared to male pattern baldness.
We know the cause but it still remains a myth to prevent hair loss, but the reality is that there are hair loss cures that do work to minimise the problem, but the only thing is you have to act now before the condition gets permanent and untreatable!
