Ingrown hair is the problem that a lot of people encounter when shaving. Shaving bumps are irritating because they have it hard to shave your face and can be extremely painful and bloody. You might even have awful looking skin because of them.
Ingrown hairs, for those who don’t know, are when a hair is cut short and it grows back on itself causing a pimple like blister. You can get ingrown hairs on your face, legs, and neck but usually they occur where ever you do a lot of hair removal on your body.
A lot of the time the reason for these situations is from bad shaving techniques. For some reason, ingrown hairs love darker skin or skin imperfections like dark moles or sun burnt areas. One of the problems with ingrown hairs is that they can cause some skin complications like rashes or swell up with bacteria. To help prevent the hair from growing this way is to shave your hairs in the same direction rather than all over the place. If you shave against the hairs natural growth pattern then you will suffer the consequences.
You might have hairs that are growing just under your skin and going to cause a problem that you can fix easily. If you get it in time, you can just use some tweezers to lift up and pull out the hair before it becomes a problem. Sometime the hair may be very strong and not easily freed because the skin has grown over. The only thing to do in this case is to let your body handle it naturally. This process should only take 2 days and then you can remove it or fix it however looks best.
As I mentioned before, you need to shave with the hair growth and avoid cutting the hair in awkward angles. Also, by keeping yourself clean and fresh you should avoid an infections or skin problems.
